Fan-tastic!

Many moons ago, I bought two colonial style fans from UK ebay.

One was white with a vile ’80’s gold design on it. So the Autentico chalk paints and one of my classic stencil and transfer books came out.

Voila, barely an hour’s work; and now the beam in the terrace room has been restored, we could mount it.

These fans, even on slow speed, make the second floor comfortable, even when it is over 40 degrees outside. The house does regulate itself, but the last two summers have been exceptional.

The electric consumption is low, and solar is our next project
