More lovely French doors- The Thursday Three from the Languedoc

img_20160725_114954Three more fabulous doors. I wonder what secrets lie behind these?

img_20160725_115335I particulary love the grey doors below, and note that two newer carved wooden panels have been added to support the brass knobs.

Entirely in keeping with the orginal doors and reassuring to me as we need to add a panel to our front door so we can mount my vintage brass fish knocker. Yes, I know I have a  selection of wood panels collected over the years but are any of these the right size ? No! So, unless I find one soon, the necessary item will have to go on Trev’s endless list. No, he doesn’t know yet………

Gosh its hard to pick a favourite amongst those treasures! I do love the grey but then I love the middle one and then the top ones. Bluddy hell … I need a whole village, not just a chateau 😉
