Episode 158 – Whoops!

So, let’s admire the “new” old door from tulip bedroom to shower room.

Let’s just show the family our amazing progress Chez Nous since May.

Let’s bask in their admiration at our tireless efforts and   achievements( even though we have to point some of it out to them )

Let’s roll about laughing hysterically when son-in-law pulls off the new door handle here whilst trying to creep about in the middle of the night (well the girls thought it was funny; the boys were less amused)

Ooh. Love the door. The grille is beautiful. So, is that clear glass on the door to the bathroom? Daring…

    • Non , Mme Bizzy. Did you not read the ancient post about Trev and glass doors?
I wanted the light I’ve gained Chez Nous to get around. He did not want any glass in bathroom doors. It’s a very simple trad obscure glass and one would have to be SERIOUSLY voyeuristic and put your eye right up to it to see anything. Grilles also help.
      These came from Spain

Aw. Wusses. I did the same thing with most of my bathroom doors and the remaining one is totally solid, but still. No question, it is an effective way to remove the gloom from what is usually a poky, dark little room.

Door handles are so difficult. The shafts of old ones aren’t the same as the new, and everything has to be tinkered with or it comes apart.
