I’ ve tried and tried to get in the whole new floor but the room is too long and the sun at the back window makes it all look shinier than it is. So these pics are the Best I can do
Just the trim and skirting boards ( yes Trev prevailed on those, but only in this room) some paintwork , the window and right side wall to paint, strip and refinish all the dining room furniture…….
But we have come a long way.
This cold cider was much relished.
Beautiful floor – what is the wood? I know I should know but forgive me a moment of epic blondeness in my brunette head 🙂

I’ve been in Europe since Good Friday – first in France cramming meetings on Marcolès, building a radio telescope in Champs and viewing potential maisons familiales plus friends into a week and then two weeks in England seeing daughters and trying to avoid antagonize increasingly aged P!

You’re doing this yourselves? We had plancher (plank floors) put down, but by a professional. And it made a mess! I can’t imagine….
