The nearly Thursday Three

Likely to be busy tomorrow so here we are “mecredi”.

You can catch a glimpse of terrace bedroom paint effect above, plus I have decided to use the terrazzo skirting reclaimed  from tulip bedroom in here. It has little chips of abalone pearl shells against shell pink with a little black to keep it from being too sugary.

Perfect.

The enamelled iron hook and long aqua voiles with a subtle oriental blossom print both found in UK.

Wow, your little country house is going all sparkly. I bet that makes it happy.

    • We shall have a touch of sparkle in terrace room only. It’s small, so let’s go for indulgent chinoiserie boudoir vibe just there

Ooh. Chinoiserie boudoir. Discreet mirrors. Red and black lacquer. Ooh. That sparkly turquoise curtain had me thinking princess bride, which is not exactly my thing, though I liked it in your house.

      • Chinoiserie as in 18thc and early 20thc faded pale pastel silks with birds & stylised flowers
No red and black lacquer anywhere!
Will be interesting juxtaposition with rough roof beam wrapped in rusty chain ( this side of house was barn)
