Beautiful creatures……

There is a definite avian and piscine (English definition!) theme creeping into my vintage finds for the French house!

In France, we spend warm days watching eagles and warm evenings watching the martins hunt and play in the skies over the village.

The river Aude brims with trout and other fish as it wends through our village and past the little street on which our house sits.

So, some recent and very appropriate gems-DSC02363

Set of three ceramic Hirondelles (swallows/martins) my take on flying ducks in the perfect shade for the terrace room! Very reminiscent of chic thirties Sylvac ware. Even the box is great.

Right-vintage Indian mirror with two fish supporting stand.

Very pisces..For the cave methinks
